On December 30, 2019, our University held a seminar for teachers studying for doctoral degrees in the United States and South Korea in the second conference room. Prof. Dr. He Zhiqiang, Vice President of our University had a discussion with more than 20 teachers of our university who will go to the United States and Korea to study for doctoral degrees, and relevant staff of the Department of International Exchange and Cooperation participated in the discussion.

Our university attaches great importance to the overseas doctoral training programs, and the teachers participating in the two overseas doctoral programs are not only improving their own academic level but also contributing to the high-level development of the university. The participating teachers expressed their gratitude to the university and promised they would study hard to live up to the expectations of the university, repay the university with excellent results and contribute to the internationalization of the university.

At present, our university has two overseas doctoral training programs. 21 teachers are studying for doctoral degrees at WooSuk University in South Korea and 11 teachers are studying for doctoral degrees at Concordia University Chicago. 27 well-known professors of our university have been appointed as doctoral supervisors by the above two universities.
