On May 12, 2016, an educational forum "Adaptation Problems and Strategies in International Talent Training", was held at Shijiazhuang Botanical Garden Royal Hotel, which is a provincial-level project on the introduction of foreign intelligence, sponsored by the university and approved by Hebei Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security and Hebei Provincial Bureau of Foreign Experts. Prof. Dr. Dong Zhaowei, Secretary of the Party Committee of our university, and Mr. Jing Qingyu, Deputy Director of Human Resources and Social Security Department of Hebei Province, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. Prof. Alan Mayer, Executive Vice President of Concordia University Chicago, delivered the keynote speech. Leaders from the Hebei Provincial Department of Education and Foreign Experts Bureau, Chinese and foreign experts, scholars and some students nearly 100 people attended. Prof. Dr. Chen Liang, Vice President of our University, presided over the opening ceremony.

On behalf of our university, Prof. Dr. Dong Zhaowei welcomed and thanked the guests, experts and scholars from home and abroad, and gave a comprehensive introduction to the international exchange and cooperation, Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools, education for foreign students and introduction of foreign intelligence.

     Chinese and foreign experts, scholars and students focused on "adaptability issues" and strategies in international talent training, and had fruitful discussions on the strengths and weaknesses of students from different countries as perceived by Chinese and foreign teachers, the standards of international talents and how to actively seek changes and improve the quality of international talent training. The atmosphere was friendly and enthusiastic.
