Held on April 29 at our campus, the Symposium on the Industry-Education-Research Integration of International Chinese Language Education was attended by Mr. Hou Jianguo, Executive Vice President of Hebei Education, Culture and International Exchange & Cooperation Association; Prof.Dr. Boniface Namangala, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the University of Zambia; and Prof. Dr. Gao Bo, President of Hebei University of Economics and Business. Nearly 100 experts, scholars as well as faculty and student representatives from 42 universities gathered to discuss pathways for the integrated development of industry, education and research in international Chinese language education. The symposium was presided over by Prof.Dr. Wang Zhongrun, Vice President of HUEB.
