On September 9th, 2021, the Office of Foreign Affairs of our University held a Teacher's Day symposium for foreign teachers in the reception room of foreign guests. Prof. Shang Liwei, Director of the Office of Foreign Affairs, attended the symposium and delivered a speech. Foreign teachers and some teachers and students from the College of Foreign Languages attended the symposium.

Prof. Shang Liwei conveyed the festival greetings from the University leaders to the foreign teachers, thanked the foreign teachers for their positive contributions to the University, and fully recognized their efforts to actively cooperate with the epidemic prevention and control management during the epidemic. Foreign teachers, he said, are the important force in the internationalization of education working with all the teachers of our University. In recent years, our University constantly introduces high-level talents, and promotes international exchanges and cooperation. We hope that foreign teachers do not only fulfill their teaching tasks,and play to their advantages in teaching and research, teacher training and other work. In recent years, our University has made great efforts to strengthen and improve the recruiting and management mechanism of foreign teachers, constantly improve welfare benefits and teaching and living conditions, and hope that foreign teachers can work and live satisfactorily and commit more contribution to the development of the University.

The foreign teachers all expressed that through the years of working and living in the University, they really felt the rapid development and prosperous changes of the University, and they were full of confidence in the future of the University. They appreciated the University for providing a good working and living environment, so that they can devote themselves to teaching and research work.
