On Sept. 27th, “Honoring the Past, Heralding the Future”---- Confucius Institute Day 2021 was celebrated in Beijing, attended by the Prof. Wei Yang, President of Chinese International Education Foundation and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Prof. Li Liu, Vice President of Chinese International Education Foundation and President of Beijing Language and Culture University, and Mr. Yunsheng Feng, Vice President of Chinese International Education Foundation and Chairman of China Education Publishing & Media Group Ltd. The celebration was held by Mr. Lingshan Zhao, Vice President and Secretary-General of Chinese International Education Foundation. Staff in the Office of Foreign Affairs of Hebei University of Economics and Business watched the celebration live online.

75 Directors of different Confucius Institutes who have served at the position for more than 10 years were awarded with “the Memorial Medal to Directors of Confucius Institutes”. Also at the celebration, the new website of Confucius Institute was launched and the list of 100 short video of “Zui Confucius Institute” was announced.
