On October 27th, the 2023 Zambian Universities Chinese Enterprises Job Expo, organized by the Confucius Institute at the University of Zambia, was successfully held at the University of Zambia. Chinese Ambassador to ZambiaH.E.XiaohuiDu, Acting Chancellor of the University of Zambia Prof. Munalula, leaders of the Zambia Chinese Association, Chinese and Zambian directors of the Confucius Institute, and student representative delivered speeches at the opening ceremony of the event, and more than 2,000 people, including representatives of enterprises, students, and media, attended the event.

The activity was supported by the Zambia Chinese Association and Zambia Chinese Youth Entrepreneurs Association, and a total of 83 Chinese and Zambian enterprises participated in the activity, including Zhongding International Construction Group CO.LTD Zambia Branch, China Geo-Engineering Corporation, China National Building Material Zambia Industrial Park, and Huamei Tobacco, etc., which covered a number of popular industries such as minerals, tourism, construction, etc., and provided local students with about 700 jobs, and almost 2,000 students participated in the event.
