On the afternoon of December 6th, the second lecture of China-Serbia Academic Exchange Ambassadors Seminar was given online by Prof. Dejan Jakic from the University of Novi Sad. Prof. Shang Liwei, Director of the Office of Foreign Affairs of HUEB, Prof. Aleksandar Cuckovic, Deputy Dean of the School of Economics of the University of Novi Sad Serbia attended the meeting and more than 40 scholars and students from China and Serbia attended the lecture.

Prof. Dejan Jakic delivered a lecture with "Exploring the Relevance and Reliability of Fair Value Accounting" as the theme. He introduced the meaning of fair value accounting in a very vivid example, the necessity of the introduction of fair value accounting, and the advantages and disadvantages of the implementation of fair value accounting, and discussed on the fair value accounting impact on the quality of financial information.

The China-Serbia Academic Exchange Ambassadors Seminar is set up as an academic exchange platform for the cooperation between the two universities, to enhance the academic interaction, to improve the level of scientific research and teaching, and further to boost the implementation of the "Open Education" strategy and contribute to the construction of "Double First-Class" of HUEB.
