On the afternoon of April 13, 2021, the 2021 online Board Meeting of Confucius Institute at Kathmandu University in Nepal was held.  Professor Doctor Liu Bing, President of Hebei University of Economics and Business, Professor Doctor Bhola Thapa, Vice-Chancellor of Kathmandu University, and Prof. Dr. Subodh Sharma, Registrar of Kathmandu University and Foreign director of CIKU, and some other members of the Confucius Institute Board attended the board meeting.

Confucius Institute at Kathmandu University 2020 work summary, 2021 work plan, and annual budget and final account were approved. During the meeting, the directors of CIKU Board exchanged opinions on some topics, such as the planning construction of the Confucius Institute building, training local teachers, and characteristic development of “Chinese+” , which will further clarify the aim and direction of the Confucius Institute.
